It’s been a good two weeks. I feel like taking a good, long break every once in a while is a definite need. It always leaves me feeling rested and ready to get back to work. I had some personal projects that I was going to work on during the last couple weeks, but what with family outings, watching movies at home, reading, knitting, Sherlock, and now Downton Abbey (!!!), that just kind of didn’t happen! So I have more on my to-do list than I thought I would…but it’s good and it’s fun to stretch myself to learn more things.

Oh, and Happy New Year (a little late)!!

I just love winter. And Christmas. It’s the best time of the year, to me at least! This is my last week of work before Christmas break, and it’s going to end up being one of those crazy busy, pack-everything-in-that-you-possibly-can weeks. Good and crazy. It’ll probably end up involving hot chocolate, lots of design work, lots of emailing, wrapping presents, packaging up and sending off things for clients, coffee, and some knitting. (I decided I needed a new scarf even though I barely know how to knit. In fact, I have a sneaking suspicion that all this time I’ve been purling when I thought I was knitting. But hey, who cares as long as it looks like a scarf, right?)
