Monday Inspiration

Right now I’m loving gold and white in design, fashion, and photos. This top left logo is lovely – it’s actually for a watch company, and I really like how they incorporated the nature of the business in the logo in such a very simple and beautiful way. The last week or so has been pretty crazy! I went with my family on a very spur-of-the-moment camping trip, and had two or three days to get work-related things in order. Soft + Bold / Client Mood Board

I really love the project that I created this mood board for. My clients are very talented photographers who I am really enjoying working with. There’s nothing better than collaborating with other artists! We’re using the concept of soft and hard for this entire project – soft pinks with hard blacks, feminine lettering with masculine typefaces, smoky watercolors with sharp fonts. Right now the logo is in the works, and I love the direction we’re going with it! I’m looking forward to sharing this project when it’s finished, as well as some other projects that are currently in progress.

That top right image? Love. Simplicity is my favorite in pretty much everything, and this photo is no exception. So lovely. I haven’t been able to keep up completely with my goal of creating a hand lettered image every day of the work week, but I have been able to do at least one graphic a week – and I really think all the practice is paying off. I love the combination of white with wood/lace with browns and reds. It’s so cozy and yet beautiful.
