This morning I got up with the sun – and I am so glad I did. My alarm clock went off and I didn’t move, just trying to decide if it was worth it to get up when I was still so tired. Well, it was. I have never seen a sunrise more gorgeous than it was this morning – with the mist and light, shadows on the grass, and the cold air. I had brought my camera with me (I was walking our dog), because I had decided I needed some photos from the last day of 2011. The…

As fall rides off in the sunset I sweep the snow from my doorstep I just can’t help but stop and grin It’s like I’m ten years old again And everywhere I go I can feel it Some say it moves like a spirit It falls on us once a year Like it came on a midnight clear It’s all love The season is a gift When love came down to let us live Let’s open up and let our hearts embrace this moment For Christmas this year Gonna make a sound Gonna make it loud For Christmas this year…

I have been listening to TobyMac’s new CD, Christmas in DiverseCity, all month long. ;) I love how upbeat it is, so fun and cheerful; something that is guaranteed to put you in the Christmas spirit. This week’s challenge was to create a Christmas-y wallpaper, so I had to do this one. Christmas this Year is one of my favorite songs on the record. (Feel free to take this wallpaper if you like, too! =D) Merry Day-Before-Christmas! Image: Night-Fate-Stock Fonts: Century Gothic and Times New Roman

Nadir, an old and aged prophet who stands alone as one who knows and obeys the truth, to his own danger….

This week’s challenge is to create a graphic of a favorite verse or quote. I’ve been listening to Peppermint Winter by Owl City all week, so I just had to do this one! I just love how happy and magical Adam Young’s songs are – every single one of them! And Peppermint Winter captures the thrill and magic of December and Christmas. ♥ Elements Background: Winter Wonderland by RubberDuckie-17, editedFonts: Optimus Princeps, Times New Roman, and Santa’s Sleigh Full
