I love the combination of white with wood/lace with browns and reds. It’s so cozy and yet beautiful. This top right photo is so gorgeous – it was taken by one of my favorite photographers, Tyson French. Such a beautiful shot. {all images via pinterest. clockwise, from top left: 1 / 2 / 3 / 4} I wanted to do something a little different and pick a few specific images from Pinterest that I really love not just for the visual aesthetic, but the content. This first one is of really neat small house. Everything is very compact and neat…

A day or so ago I was reading my Bible – I couldn’t sleep and was kind of overwhelmed – and I stumbled across Isaiah 40-44. I mean I’ve read those chapters before, but never all at once. I want to learn I See Fire by Ed Sheeran…I found this awesome tutorial and was just sitting there wishing I could…

I just felt kind of tired and in the mood to sit around and read. Fast forward to the afternoon. I had a cappuccino and totally felt back to normal. Is this a problem? Or a good thing? I think it’s probably the later. ;) It’s been kind of a weird week for me – in between working with clients I’ve been overhauling my website. The only reason I’m…

2013

Well. I probably say it every time, but it’s especially hard this time to believe the year has come to an end! 2013 has gone by so quickly, and has been filled with so many different experiences and opportunities and wonderful times and hard times. This year was actually totally different than I thought it would be…but in a good way, ultimately. I guess one of the biggest things I’ve been learning is that life doesn’t always happen like we hope and think it will, but Jesus’ plan is the best, no matter what. Even if it doesn’t feel good…
