I think one the hardest things to keep up with as a designer is my portfolio – it takes a good amount of time and effort to keep it current and updated with well curated photos and graphics. I love the feel of this mood board – the textures and colors create such a hand made and warm mood. We’ve already wrapped up this design and I love how it turned out! The lady who I’m working with loves all things folk, hippie, and nature-inspired; so we’ve incorporated different textures and art mediums to give it that earthy feel. I’m looking forward to sharing the finished product very soon!

Every time I work with Meghan I have so much fun – she is one of the sweetest people I’ve ever gotten to know. I had designed her blog about a year or two ago, and recently she emailed me saying she was going to be changing her blog a little bit – including the name and the design. She’s an author (and just published her first book, a historical fiction novel about the Civil War!) and after a few years of blogging and figuring out the direction she wanted to go, she was ready to bring it all together…
