Lately I’ve been loving all things bright. The simplicity and lightness of these images and graphics are so refreshing and calming. Well, the past two weeks – no, the past month and a half! – have been kind of crazy! The saying “it doesn’t rain but it pours” is so true. Right after I got back home from visiting friends I ended up buying a MacBook Pro (and people, I am never going back to Windows. ;) I’m sold.), and that meant that quite a bit of my time was taken up transferring things over and updating software (I finally had to get the Photoshop CS6 upgrade). And then no sooner was that taken care of then I came down with the flu….

I’m sitting here at Starbucks, watching it snow outside. Yesterday I was actually bemoaning the fact that it felt like Spring was here…and now it’s dropped about thirty degrees and is back to a nice, comfortable winter. ;) I love it. Although all you Mid-Westerners, you have my sympathy. I know you’ve had your fill of winter. But speaking of winter and coffee…check out that crema on that shot of espresso in the top right photo! (at least it looks like it’s a shot or two of espresso.) I’m telling you guys, that is the mark of some great coffee….
