Well, the past two weeks – no, the past month and a half! – have been kind of crazy! The saying “it doesn’t rain but it pours” is so true. Right after I got back home from visiting friends I ended up buying a MacBook Pro (and people, I am never going back to Windows. ;) I’m sold.), and that meant that quite a bit of my time was taken up transferring things over and updating software (I finally had to get the Photoshop CS6 upgrade). And then no sooner was that taken care of then I came down with the flu. That wasn’t pleasant to say the least. And then I turned twenty right after recovering…it was an eventful week! So I’ve neglected posting on my blog, although I have so much to share…but things are finally settling down and I’m getting back into the groove.
I updated my blog design and I think I really like it! My favorite addition is the “On Pinterest” section in the sidebar…it’s pretty amazing to me to think of how something as small as your recent pins can add so much to a design. It’s all in the details.
I’m loving my laptop so much. My old laptop (an HP Compaq) lasted for four years and was wonderful to have – but this laptop is so much faster, and I do love OS X. Although I have to admit that I miss the organization and ease of access Windows has with file management. Have any of you transitioned from Windows to Mac? How did the process go?
Ah! I love love your new design! Your handwriting is to die for. So jealous of your new Macbook ;) I have one, but it’s a hand-me-down from my mom and it’s getting suuuper slow.. And I’m loving the Pinterest widget on the sidebar. Super cute! Anyways, I forgot to tell you on Facebook the other day, so HAPPY BIRTHDAY late! xoxo
Thanks Natalia!! =) haha I tell you what, it has taken FOREVER to get my handwriting to actually be legible. So that means a lot. ;) hehe. I hope you can upgrade your laptop soon! It’s no fun having a slow computer.
THANK YOU!! =)
Hannah,
the Mac file system is quite easy once you get to know it. ;)
Yep, I think I’m finally getting the hang of it…I just miss the obviousness of Windows! ;)
