I’ve known Emily ever since I was six or seven – she taught my 2nd grade Sunday School class at our church. She’s always been someone that I really admire and look up to. She married a wonderful man, Chris, and they adopted a little girl named Erika (who is totally adorable!).

Chris passed away six months ago today from cancer, and although Emily has gone through unimaginable grief, the Lord is faithfully healing her. She has been posting on CaringBridge, and her words of trust and faith in the Lord even through all the sorrow have been a blessing to those who have read them. She wanted to create a blog apart from CaringBridge, and I was able to help her create one – something I really loved doing! Her favorite colors are browns, light creams, and pops of orange and blue – a really beautiful color scheme to work with. You can see the moodboard for the blog here.
