This week’s collection is quieter, more real, and much less “manufactured,” I think. I love real images, images that aren’t made but discovered. The more I think about it, the more right it feels to want to photograph life as it is – not life in a tidy box. The deepest emotions and the truest moments always seem to happen when no one is trying to make them happen. And I think that’s why I’m falling more in love with doing so much by hand in my own design work, and documenting some of that work with my camera. It…

Today is another one of those quite, gray, coffee-filled work days. It’s nice to have steady weeks, when work is fun and I can enjoy the quiet. I miss winter. I miss the excitement that comes with a fresh fall of snow, the sharp cold in the air that wakes everyone up and brings out the color in their faces. It’s warm here, and raining, and as I sit at my desk looking out at the gray sky and dark trees I can’t help but wish that snow would come. But for now I’ll settle for winter in design, and I’ll pretend it’s twenty degrees outside. And maybe snow will come… Happy Monday! =) {all images via pinterest. clockwise, from top left: 1 // 2 // 3…
