This week’s collection is quieter, more real, and much less “manufactured,” I think. I love real images, images that aren’t made but discovered. The more I think about it, the more right it feels to want to photograph life as it is – not life in a tidy box. The deepest emotions and the truest moments always seem to happen when no one is trying to make them happen. And I think that’s why I’m falling more in love with doing so much by hand in my own design work, and documenting some of that work with my camera. It brings a human element in that’s just priceless.
