Each October finds us in a slight frenzy as we get ready for the fair. Almost every one of us enters baked goods, sewn items, crafts, and art. Getting all those entries ready is always crazy and awesome, something we look forward to each year. The fair opened yesterday, and we got to go with some of our friends to see our entries and just enjoy the day. We went to Starbucks first, of course…my sister decided to get a venti pumpkin spice latte. (She drank every drop! =D ) And even though it was rainy and overcast all day, we had a wonderful time, and I couldn’t get enough of the soft, diffused light that was everywhere. But the best part, I think, is the memories that are created each time we go. Moments like running through the pouring rain laughing uncontrollably are what make these times so sweet. And I’m glad we can have them to treasure forever.
*I worked at the fair last week, and will be working again next week, so I will be almost completely absent from the online world. I’ll be back in a little over a week!*
two words: gorgeous. photos.
that is all.

Aw, thanks Jess!
I love the fair, really, so very much. The unbearably loud music, the swarming people, the lights and movement and laughter. I love it all so much. and I also love this post.

yes yes – nothing can replace that kind of atmosphere. It’s the best.
Thanks for stopping by, Katie! =D
