It isn’t easy to say goodbye to people you love like family. There’s an ache in your chest, like someone took a piece of your heart, and the ache doesn’t really go away. You just learn how to live with it until you see them again. And you remember all your times with them and thank God for giving them to you.
We flew home from MN almost two weeks ago, and it’s still hard to believe our visit is already over. Three weeks sounded like a lot of time…but it flew past! Being with my friends – my friends who truly are like my second family – was wonderful, and I miss them more than I can even say. We said goodbye the morning we left before everyone left for work or school, and even though I know I’ll see them again (Lord willing) it was hard. But then we were home that night and glad to see our family again. It’s crazy how something can be so bittersweet, isn’t it?
I took an unintentional break from the online world while I was in MN and after I got back home – because it seriously has taken almost two weeks for me to get back into the swing of normal life. It is good to be back – and I have so much to share on this blog, including quite a few finished projects as well as parts of upcoming ones and photos I’ve taken over the past month!

Your moodboards are always so great. Missed you around the blogosphere, glad you’re back. I know what it’s like missing people you love, and only seeing them once in awhile. Coming home is so bittersweet, home feels good, and so does routine, but dude missing people can take up so much room in your heart. It takes awhile to get in the swing of things. I can’t wait to see all your new projects and pictures :)
Thanks Natalia. =) Yes, missing people does take up so much of your heart! It’s crazy how deeply we can feel emotion…
