After looking through all of my photos from our time in Minnesota, I’ve realized that my favorites are the crazy, not-perfect, ipod/phone photos. They aren’t artistic or VSCO Grid-worthy, but they’re the ones that make me smile the most. I think it’s because they all show different random moments that are so memorable – the ones of everyone hanging out in the family room, silly ones with the girls, and my countless instagrams of caribou drinks. Those are my favorite.
But I love the “nicer” ones too. =) I picked just a few of my favorites to share – some of the highlights of our time. The best part of it all was just being with so many of my Minnesota friends, and things like going to the Mall of America (last time I’d been there I was seven!), going to the state fair, fishing out on the lake, hanging out at Caribou, going to Applebee’s after going to see Percy Jackson, Wednesday nights and Sunday mornings at TCBC, watching way too many episodes of Once Upon a Time, giggling uncontrollably with the girls, taking illegal photos at Maurice’s, and just hanging out and talking was the best. I’m so thankful for the opportunity we had to go up there again, and I can’t wait to do it again!
On another note – I decided it was time for a change, so I re-did my blog design. Serif typefaces are my current favorite…I find myself constantly switching back and forth between serif and sans-serif and scripts. ;) But hey, variety is the spice of life, right?
I love all the smiles and general happiness in this. <3 and that last shot… OHMYGOSH.
it’s perfect!
=) Me too.
haha I’m glad you like it!! ;)
Love the new design. So clean and pretty! And I love how your brand is still here, but you can still switch up your blog design a bit. I’m working on branding to a degree. I’m obviously still a newbie, but I want my business to be more streamlined whether or not I’m a newbie haha. I was worried that once I ‘rebranded’ i wouldn’t be able to ever switch up my blog design. –natalia
p.s. serif fonts are my fave
Thanks Natalia! Yeah, that was one thing I was worried about when I was re-branding. I didn’t want to be “stuck” with one design. So it’s been fun to stay in the same general area when it comes to style, but let myself try new things! ;)
LOVE, the shot of the bridge.
