I’ve known Emily ever since I was six or seven – she taught my 2nd grade Sunday School class at our church. She’s always been someone that I really admire and look up to. She married a wonderful man, Chris, and they adopted a little girl named Erika (who is totally adorable!). Chris passed away six months ago today from cancer, and although Emily has gone through unimaginable grief, the Lord is faithfully healing her.
